Patriots Spoil Steelers’ Debut at the ‘Sure
The Patriots opened the third quarter with a deep drive that ended in a missed 52-yard FG. “Kenny” chants swelled after Mitch checked it down eight yards behind the sticks on third down. Regardless, he got K Chris Boswell in range for a 52-yarder of his own; as Adam Sandler once sang of Hall of Famer Rod Carew: “He converted.”
Steelers finally solve Lions
QB Mitch Trubisky (with a little help from his friend WR Steven Sims) finally found the end zone with 14 seconds left in the second quarter after calling on K Chris Boswell thrice in the first half to finish drives. Boswell – almost needlessly to say – connected on all three.
