Apart from the sleight-of-hand of a Beau Primula option, or – slightly more figuratively – Manny Diaz sawing opposing QB’s in half, something magical happens in the stands at Beaver Stadium.
For three shimmering hours, six Saturdays every fall, 110,000 people gather in 100% lockstep agreement that the world will be a little brighter tomorrow morning if the Boys in Blue win today.
I’m just trying to capture a bit of that magic.
